We stayed here for a family get a way. We did not realize when booking, there is no front desk staff on site. This caused some momentary inconvenience initially, but it was resolved. The room was okay. It was clean enough, but our door had a large gap that allowed light from the hallway, and made us feel slightly less safe. The walls are paper thin, and we could hear people easily in nearby rooms and the hallway. We woke the second night to a woman screaming in a way that made us worry someone was hurt, but we don’t know what happened. The most frustrating part, though, was that after our trip, though we left our room in clean order, we were charged a $99 fee that I had to call repeatedly about in order to get it refunded. They did finally do this, but it meant an additional chore and inconvenience following our trip. The place is inexpensive and served our purposes, but when we return to St. Louis, I will choose another play for our stay.
