Upon my initial arrival, I was truly impressed by the outward appearance of the place. It seemed to have been newly remodeled, giving off a very modern and sleek vibe. However, my opinion quickly shifted as I approached the reception desk to check in. The first red flag arose when I was informed that the security deposit would be $150 per night, despite the website stating it was $100.
Upon entering the room, I was met with uncomfortable warmth as the AC was not turned on. To make matters worse, I had to contend with the presence of five flies buzzing around, which I found quite off-putting. Adding insult to injury, there was no ice bucket, let alone any ice, which was a disappointing lack of basic amenities.
When considering extending my stay, I inquired about the rate for an additional night. The response from the staff was less than satisfactory, with the explanation that weekend rates were significantly higher. The price quoted to me was a staggering $40 more than any booking site I had previously checked. Suffice it to say, after this disappointing experience, I decided against extending my stay, and it's unlikely that I will choose to return in the future.
