The room was surprisingly large - there was no single supplement - it was a double bed room with sofa bed. it was very clean and in good condition; there were indications of cleaning - bed leg veneers were chipped, on edges by vacuum cleaner head use - much as you would expect given the high quality of cleaning. Very impressed by "card vault" to put power to room on/off, first time I had seen/used one (maybe a sticker on it or wall explain use would be useful); but, a great safety feature. There were stickers on computer monitors in reception for Electrical Safety in the Workplace 1989 - PAT testing inspection, but, I did not see any on the appliances in room (kettle, hair drier, TV)? Very large windows with good curtains - one set daylight net the other a heavier sound/light proof set. On my stay, one of the lifts was not working; surprised, a company the size of Hilton group, appears not to have lift engineer service on 24 hour call. As impressed with cleanness/condition of room, as I was, it was then very impressive that this quality of service extended through out the hotel. Staff of the hotel brilliant - friendly, efficient, helpful.
