The property is an older building and did display some signs of the years of wear, however the location and conditions and level of comfort was really great. As an older couple the only presenting issue for us was having to climb over a very high bath to access the shower for daily use. Kind regards JJ

The bathroom shower/bath combo was an accident waiting to happen. The height of the bath and the awkwardness of actually getting into the bath/shower was terrible. My husband has a back injury and getting into the bath was very hard. I fear that my elderly parents would have no hope in even attempting to get into bathe. Very dangerous and not practical at all. Not for anyone. There was only one dinner plate, not enough crockery for two people to have a meal. However, the location of Mantra was convenient for our weekend away. The communication from Mantra to advise there were no parking available on site prior to arriving was helpful but disappointing.

Amazing central location, friendly reception team, great communications with the reservations team. Sadly the abundance of stains on the carpet and condition of the sofa really let us down. The sofa was so tired and stained I did not want my kids to sit on it. Sadly these two points let down the overall stay and for the price it was a surprise to encounter such defects.

First room was very average and uninviting particularly the rollout bed that resembled a hospital stretcher. Purchased the upgraded room which presented much better however bathroom door handle failed locking my wife in for 20 minutes causing all sorts of stress (a big thank you to your maintenance man). Have stayed in a number of hotels / apartments in Brisbane and this might be one of the worst. Apartments are definitely in dire need of some renovation. Arrived to find the freezer left open and a big pool of brown water all over the floor, even after closing the freezer the fridge continued to leak. The carpet was dirty and stained and the air conditioning was not working correctly. When I tried to check out in the morning at check out time there was noone at the reception desk and no dropbox to leave keys. Had to just leave the key on the desk and hope that was okay. The location is good but currently there are major civil works nearby that make it not ideal. There is much better accommodation available in this price range. Stay at the sebel / meriton / oaks.
