I had a one week's stay at Sapphire Suites Taksim during my visit to Istanbul in may 2025. I had a single-room apartment with a cooking stove and a double bed. The apartment was nice and clean with clean sheets and towels. The communication was good just from the beginning before I arrived and until my check-out.
There are however a few elements which made me give it the score that i gave it.
1. I got the room on the ground floor and I would sometimes be disturbed by the sound of people opening and closing the door outside and children playing right outside the window. This cannot be avoided, but the sound-isolation could be worked on.
2. Cooking inside the room is not the best idea as the room is very small and the hood turned on is not to enough avoid the smell of food staying in the room for some days.
3. The frying pan is rusty and is not healthy for use.
4. Getting to Taksim requires that you ascend a VERY steep hill which was okay for me but would be very difficult for old people, pregnant women, people using a stroller and people who have bad knees.
5. The bed doesn't have a mattress topper which can cause some serious back pain.
Apart from that I cannot think of anything else and I recommend this room for someone who - as myself - spends most of the day outside exploring and only need a room for spending the night there and restituation.
