Our contract with Expedia included transfers from and to airport. This was confirmed by Liz, US telephone agent a few days before leaving for holiday. In the event, transfers were not available and we had to pay €38 for taxis both ways.
Having to collect keys from an office 200 metres away, whilst remainder of family waited at the resort with luggage, was an inconvenience. Also, the office was not identified by a building number and not easy to find.
Finding a welcome note in the apartment would have been a nice feature but there was nothing only notices about onerous fines for non compliance with rules.
Quality and quantity of cutlery and crockery in the apartment rather basic and well worn. No tin opener and cork screw of no use. Handle turned on stem making it impossible to remove a cork from a wine bottle. Absence of a dish cloth and tea towel. Toaster rather tired and dirty.
Rather peculiar lounge furniture, with numerous small drawers but not really functional. Shower head fell off holder as soon as water was turned on. No plug for basin in bath room.
Excellent swimming pool in complex but start of availability rather late at 10.30am. Lifeguard presence good. Security on site excellent. Proximity to superb beach a big plus. Very few bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of complex. Local bus service excellent.
In summary, a rather tired apartment in a good complex and local vicinity.
