Bed was comfortable and room was clean. No elevator so room on the 4th floor was not fun. Parking was challenging. EasyPark app did not work initially and no free parking in front of hotel. Had to pay the first night. Found free spot the next night.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms with nice hot showers. Beds and towels are sparkly white. No shampoo or conditioner though. Parking was tough to find in front of the buildings but maybe because we arrived around 8pm at night. Kitchen was well equipped and had a cupboard of leftovers from other Travellers which was nice.

The rooms were clean. The stairs and hallways needed help but a sign on the wall said that carpet is on order and will be installed soon. I appreciated that notice. Check in and check out were self serve but the instructions to check in were detailed in a message.

Great location, simple room, quiet, no elevator though - make sure you can carry your luggage up at most four flights of stairs

4/10 Aceptable

Great location!! It’s about 5minute walk from the main shopping area (Laugavegur). There’s no staff on site for check in but a clear detailed instruction was provided. It was easy, The common areas such as the lobby and kitchen were minimalist and modern design. No airconditioning as it’s common in Europe. Opening the window was adequate and made the room cool and comfortable. The private bathroom has a stand in shower similar to the cruise ships. The PAVI Guesthouse is a good place to stay in Reykjavík! I will definitely highly recommend this place.

Cozy place

It was a nice cozy place, small rooms but comfortable beds. We stayed in a two beds room, it was quiet, and close to the tourist area and restaurants.

The room was dark and the only other light was a gooseneck by the so called table There were no facecloths, only 2 hand towels no bar of soap The bed was not made The cover was on top of the bed and you had to make it There was no clock or phone The drawer was a plastic shoe bag on a clothes stand The door lock was difficult to lock and then open Never saw anyone of staff you could even ask about anything There were electrical receptacles but no adaptor for non European electrical appliances There was no elevator and taking the suitcases up was difficult When I booked January 2026 I knew there was festival and paid $400 for the room but the pics on FB show way better For that money I could have stayed at a high price hotel The place was unacceptable and should be charged for false representation. I would not advice anyone to go there.

This is budget hotel - but the location is amazing (close to everything!) and the rooms are clean and spacious.

Great place to stay after a long flight. Rooms were basic but all that we needed. Shared kitchen was a nice amenity. Very quiet even in the middle of town.
