Their booking system is misleading the pictures do not look anything like the actual place and unfortunately for me I could not cancel as I was only able to see that during the check in time ,the Umnenga lodge worst place to book in you cannot be paying R900 for such a poor looking place we could not sleep in that place we had to go back home imagine and all I got was sorry if you don’t like it as if that will return my money and time back. I would advise anyone who books at any inkwenkwezi lodge to first go and check them first or pay at the venue first before going to them don’t book online

everything was clean, but on my side i requested u to write hapoy birthday for my fiancee, but on our arrival in our room none of that was done I was so disappointed on that. other than that everything was gud, and uo to standard. your food mmmhhh marvelous, ur staff was so friendly.

I had a good 1 night stay at the facility and they have lots of parking space. My room had a pond view which was very refreshing in the morning as i drink my coffee looking ag the fish and birds. The beds werent so good but ok. They should perhaps consider having a small fridge in the rooms since they say they have braai areas. Showers had hot water and bathrooms were very clean.

We had a comfortable stay and were made to feel very welcome. Our room, with its little balcony, over looked a pond so beautiful view of the wild life and the associated sounds. Lovely quiet location.

The property was a little run down. For that price has to be better otherwise the lower the rate. Shower pressure non existent. Jacuzzi faulty and did not work.

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Park. Wir fühlten uns sicher und sind von unserem Ranger hervorragend geführt worden mit sehr guten Erklärungen auch zur Tier— und Pflanzenwelt. Die Fahrt zu den weißen Löwen war beeindruckend. Das Zelt war komfortabel und sauber mit Terrasse und darauf einem Whirlpool . Wirkwaren Anfang Ferbuar 2018 dort.

Experience was sub-standard at best, the location was 10km from the Private Game Reserve that we thought we had booked at (fake advertising) and there was nobody at reception or in the entire facility. Room was sub standard and in short will never recommend this to anyone.

The Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve is a once in a lifetime experience. The owner and his staff love animals. I am gratefull to share this one day with them. The game drive was exeptional the drive itself was already a life time experience because of the rough road also called an African Massage. This experience is worth to sleep in an below average accomodation

It was a lovely weekend , except the Saturday I was there , there was a wedding, which meant I couldn't use the restaurant ,which was a huge inconvenience because this was not mentioned to me before hand. It had stated I would be able to buy dinner at the restaurant. and because of the location of the lodge , it was not easy to just call a take away place or go buy food somewhere else,as I had been dropped off by a cab. Other than the dinner incident on Saturday , the lodge was very lovely. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Always willing to help. The property itself was beautiful and clean and well looked after. Would definitely go back for another stay . Only suggestion would be to make a more noticeable sign for the Glen Eden turn off ,because you can hardly notice the name when driving by

The room was clean and comfortable - and nice for a three star establishment at the price. The owners were friendly and were able to give me a map and recommended some local restaurants. On the down side... reception was not open when I needed help (I was able to phone the owners who gave me the key); the restaurant was closed on both nights of my stay - so I had to go elsewhere for a meal (and there was nothing nearby); the television was an old box TV - with only 4 channels and no remote - so each channel change involved climbing on a chair. I booked a room with a "Spa bath" and thought I had been cheated out of it - then eventually on the day I was checking out - I spotted it in an open courtyard adjacent to my room. Although the booking said Inkenkwezi - the room I was in was actually at the Umnenga Lodge - which was not in a game reserve.

Vi hade högt ställda förväntningar inför vårt besök på Inkwenkwesi. Varenda en och några till uppfylldes! Ett stort tack till vår guide Roger, både för ditt engagemang och ditt trevliga sätt. Du lärde oss otroligt mycket nytt om djur och natur, tog oss med ut på fantastiska äventyr, med spänning och humor som två mycket viktiga ingredienser. Hit återvänder jag gärna! We arrived to find the hotel had no staff and had to phone the owner who sent his daughter in law to check us in. She told us the hotel had no restuarant facility or room service and that she would cook us breakfast when she got up in the morning. She said this was around half eight. The room was filthy and old. The TV had such bad reception and barely 4 channels. I strongly suggest everyone give this hotel a wide berth. As for the game park. It had mainly gazzelles and ostriches with a few larger game, but none of the big five, very dissapointing.

THe directional posts were not so clear though, to an extent we nearly gave up looking for the place, it is hiding behind this other establishment with poor directional posts.
