Marianna et Dimitris sont des hôtes parfaits. Accueil parfait (avec un surclassement), les villas sont super bien situées et la piscine privée un réel privilège. La côte est magnifique et le soir on entend les vagues de la baie. Génial si l’on veut profiter de la Crète sans souffrir des inconvénients des resorts all inclusive.

The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking. We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice. Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up. Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right by (like we did!).

Stunning villas, in a beautiful unspoiled area of Crete. Lovely hosts, who will cook breakfast or dinner. All fresh to order. 5 mins walk to a gorgeous beach. A great find. 109% recommended. Would love to come again.

We stayed in Intron luxury villas in June 2023. It was the perfect relaxing break for my husband and myself along with our daughter who had just finished GCSEs. The lovely villa is in a beautiful quiet location and thoughtfully equipped, the private pool was a wonderful luxury and the sandy beach and bay was less than 5 mins walk. The local hotel also has lovely facilities available to those staying at the villas including the private beach with parasols and sunbeams that were always available. The location of the villa was perfect for site seeing and Crete has such a lot of wonderful history to offer. A car is needed as the grocery stores were a mile or so away but had everything we needed and there were plenty of restaurants within 5-10 mins drive. The local food was fabulous. We would love to return next year as a week was not enough.

Fantastisk beliggenhed, Meget flot lejlighed, terasse og pool. Stille, roligt og meget fredeligt sted. Personale er super venlige, servicemindede og servicerer ganske anonymt. Mad, der bestilles gennem ejerne, er helt i top og smager forrygende. Et sted, der virkelig kan anbefales for dem, der ønsker fred og ro. Det absolut bedste sted, vi har boet i de 25 år, vi har besøgt Grækenland.

This was our second time on Greek islands and first on Crete. Crete is a very large island so i rented a villa and then realized it was far away from any wanted to be visited destinations, such as Heraklion was an hour away. Initially I panicked but while at the spot we readily agreed that Heraklion can be visited once, there is no attraction in staying there. Sea is very windy there, most resorts have no pools. There will be an issue with the car parking. Getting to the villas was easy, the owner sent us very easy to follow instructions, it took us a little over an hour though we travelled at night as we were taking of a ferry from Santorini. Agios Nikolaos is a very pretty laid back area with all you need for a comfortable stay. Within 5 mins by car there is a bakery with lovely Greek breads and sweets. Taverns are abundant. The nicest was the restaurant kept by the owner's family where you could order any dish you want in the morning and it will be deliciously cooked for you by dinner time. Prices are very reasonable considering quality of food, and the owner and his daughter are great cooks.They were getting fresh meat and other suppliers from a local market. Villa is lovely situated in a pretty garden. You could walk to the beach, it is few minutes down from the villa. We drove though to a very close beach, 5-10 mins by car which is phenomenally beautiful. All the nearby beaches are lagoons with no wind. Villas are nicely away from other hotels in the area.

Attention ARNAQUE sur les villas!

Les villas décrites sur le site sont dans le complexes hôtel avec accès direct à la plage privée et toutes les installation de l’hôtel. Mais cela est FAUX, une grande partie des villa se trouvent en dehors du complexe à 3 ou 4 km dans un village bruyant et traversé par une grande route. Si vous n'avez pas une voiture vous n'aurez aucun accès à la plage ni a aucune infrastructure ! Vous ne le saurez qu'après avoir payer votre réservation voire comme nous lors de votre arrivée sur site... Nous étions furieux et le personnel s'en est moqué complétement...quand nous sommes aller au complexe le lendemain.... Sinon les villas sont biens --------------------------- Villas on web site are based in the hotel complex with direct access to the private beach and all installations of the hotel. But this is FALSE, much of the villa is located outside the complex in 3 or 4 km in a noisy village and crossed by an highway . If you do not have a car you will have no beach or no infrastructure access! You do not know until you pay for your booking or even like us upon arrival on-site ... We were furious and the staff is completely mocked ... when we go to the complex the next day .... Otherwise the villas are good

Amazing stay!

We booked a one bedroom villa for the Easter weekend and were upgraded to a two bedroom. The villa has everything you need and quite spacious. It has a lovely terrace with good size pool overlooking the sea. Our hosts Andonis, Dimitris and Andonis' daughter (I forget her name) were so amazing. We had breakfast in the hotel every morning where a feast was prepared by Andonis. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a truly special time and I would not hesitate to return. I can only highly recommend these villas.

A Wonderful Stay

The Villas are multiroom houses with a private pool for each villa. Our villa had three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large living room/kitchen space. It included a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. The unit was stone and tile floor, immaculately clean with quite comfortable beds. The Villas are run by a family (father, daughter and son) who were gracious, helpful and genuinely concerned about the quality of our stay. You may make a reservation for dinner, and they will cook for you. It was delicious and the daughter kindly set out for us a romantic spread. Breakfast is served a short distance away, and you may bring it back to your Villa if you choose. Dinner and breakfast are extra. Wi-Fi service is complimentary and performs well, though not evenly throughout the villa. This location is a gem, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone traveling to Crete. If you book, the owner will send an email with directions. You'll have better luck with these than online maps.

A gem hidden in Istron Bay

Tucked away in the hills of the Istron bay, with a stunning view of the ocean, these villas are everything you need to unwind and feel at home away from home. Even though you are well connected to the big roads, it is serenely calm and you have all the privacy in the world. The villa itself came fully equipped - 1 master bedroom with adjoining bathroom, a second bedroom and a shower/toilet. The livingroom / kitchen area is cozy to a fault and even the fabric of the sofas feel welcoming. The kitchen is completely furnished with all appliances, plates and cutlery. A cleaning lady comes in once a day, and did I mention the private terrace with swimming pool? You would think that there would be no reason to leave the pleasant confines of the villa, but I can give you two good reasons to. One, being the beautiful pebbled beach down the road, with a good stretch of shallow water for swimming. Two, just about the best Greek cuisine I have ever eaten in my life, cooked by the hotelier personally. Every dish was prepared with local high-quality ingredients, with a generous portion of love, and you can taste it in every bite. Linguini with prawns, chicken breast with mustard/orange sauce, and the highlight: lamb chops with smoked eggplant puree, just to name a few. Unfortunately there is a limit to these reviews so I cannot do the breakfast, lunch and dessert any justice, nor the excellent wine. All in all, you can feel this little gem is the product of love, in every single detail.

Gemütliche Villa mit tollem Meerblick

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Villa Dimitris mit toller Aussicht auf die Istron Bay. Die Villa ist sowohl für Paare als auch für Familien geeignet. Nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Der Pool sorgt für angenehme Erfrischung an heissen Tagen.
