The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, front desk staff was not in any kind of uniform or name tag or anything and seemed to come in from outside to check me in. Halls smelled of weed. There was urine in the toilet with the seat up and a pubic hair on it. Trash left not thrown away from previous guest on the desk. Only plus is the price and the location was in a decent part of town.

Donna the breakfast person was so amazing! Great attitude and friendly. Maintenence man super friendly. Front desk people awful from the beginning to the end. They first rented us a dirty room. Had not been touched by housekeeping! Then acted as if it was an inconvenience. The microwave was disgusting. Greasy inside and out and food splatter inside also it's door/ button was broken. We literally had to reach our hand in the back of the toliet to flush it. (With the front desk being so unfriendly and acting like guests are an inconvenience we didn't report it till check out) As we were leaving the maintenence man apologized and said we should've told him he would've fixed it... He was very nice and apologetic.. unlike ANY of the 3 front desk ppl we encountered.Now they are trying to charge us an extra$250. Saying it had a bad chemical smell. Is hair spray now a bad chemical smell? Because that's the only chemical used!! Well never stay at Comfort Inn and suites Abilene central again.. Air B&B from now on!!!
