Pros:
The location is fantastic:
* across the street from Haeundae beach,
* about a 10-minute walk from Haeundae subway station (we took the light rail/subway from the airport)
* upon exiting the Haeundae subway station, you are on a bustling street filled with food stalls and shops,
* about halfway down the short street is a lively street market, especially in the evening
* when you reach the end of the street you are met by the ocean, a fantastic welcome!
* walk another 5 minutes, and you're at the hotel
Pros of the room itself:
* pretty spacious
* housed all five of us
* had all the basics we needed, including kitchen equipment, washer, drying rack, lots of towels
* the kitchen seemed pretty clean
* the refrigerator, washer, and microwave seemed new
* my many questions regarding check-in and location were answered promptly
Cons:
* oldish building,
* same building seems to be shared by various hotels: on our floor, there were at least 2 or three different hotel name signs posted outside other doors. This is confusing. When we looked the address up on a map app with a street view, the name on the sign outside was of another otel. I never would have known that that was the door I should take if I hadn't asked the With hotel about it...
* slow elevator
* room seems to be renovated piecemeal, with an odd industrial/older run-down home/modern bits feel.
* the furniture was worn
* bathroom moldy, shower water leaking out towards toilet
