A pleasant hotel in the Old Town, with comfortable rooms and daily housekeeping. The breakfast is fairly simple but adequate, and the staff is generally friendly.
However, there were significant issues during the stay. Due to renovation work nearby, there was no electricity for an entire night, leaving all our devices uncharged. I was moved to another room, but the power outages continued intermittently throughout the following day. When I contacted the hotel, I was told that this was quite common for hotels in Istanbul, which did not match my previous experiences at other hotels in the city.
After expressing my dissatisfaction, the only gesture offered was a free lunch at a nearby café. Considering that I had booked three rooms and was traveling with my whole family, I expected a more attentive response and some form of proper compensation. Instead, the issue was downplayed, which felt inadequate and disappointing.
