They have free breakfast, clean room, spacious siting area, and very helpful staff. You can cook you food here as they have a well equipped kitchen. For those who want to see hilo night lava, they offer free tours also, but please remember to tip the staff. Normally tours like this cost $ 220 to 260 with tours companies in hilo

Over all great. Wish there had cooler rooms, drinks for sale. Coin operated washer n dryer. Loved the beds. Curtains and under bed lockers that could be locked. We return on next trip to Hilo.

amazing spot in Hilo town. The hustle and bustle sounds can be heard right in the area of this establishment. But, it shows that the Big Island is reviving back. The staff are an international group and well versed in customer service. The guests that stays here are pretty much a like-minded bunch.

Great location in town of Hilo. Warning to people like us who saw it advertised with Air conditioning. There is NO AC at any room in the hostel, including the private quad. If coming in the summer, it can be pretty hot. Also the place was very dusty and the fan they provided us was filthy. Bathrooms can use a deep clean as well. Staff was always nice and helpful though.

The ocean was visible from both our rooms. We did not cook, just made tea; but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped and we saw other guests cooking. The bathroom was clean and had several showers, so we never had to wait The hostel is very conveniently located in downtown Hilo.

ドミトリーに4泊しました。レセプションのスタッフの方は毎日かわりますが、どなたもフレンドリーで親切でした。 立地はヒロのダウンタウンにあり便利です。バス停(ヒロバスターミナル)から徒歩5分ほどでした。スーパーマーケットもやファーマーズマーケットも徒歩5分ほどなので、食材を購入してキッチンで自炊も出来ました。 ひとつだけ困った点は、南隣がライブバー、道を挟んで東隣がイベントスペースのため、週末は夜遅くまで(11時半頃まで)音楽が鳴り響いていました。音に敏感な方には辛いかもしれません。

Awesome place! The bunks are comfortable and one of the best hostel ones Ive seen anywhere. But the rooms are usually 6 beds per room but the rooms are very large. Location: amazing, downtown (main area lol, Hilo is a small town!) Parking is free nearby at a 3 min walk. Great people and welcoming.

Comfortable and fun place to stay!

Our family of three stayed in one of the private rooms. We felt comfortable and relaxed there. There were plenty of bathrooms to choose from. Very nice hostel.
