Excellent, For Now
This hotel has been in service for a little less than 2 years. Everything is still in a state of clean newness. My visit was quiet and comfortable but, service leaves a lot to be desired. Much of the technology, is state of the art and there is an industrial recycled look in the room. The room servant speak very little English but their quality of service is excellent. Using the new TV is challenging. The secured room entry system is 21st Century. I really liked that. During my visit I noticed that there were still some cultural issues around the pool. I was there for 3 days. During those three days I observed people from my balcony. When one group entered the pool another group would exit the pool and lounge on the side. When the group that was in the pool, got out of the water, those seated on the side would then, return to the pool. At no time did I see or hear disruptive language or behaviors from either group. (This would break Dorothy Dandridge's heart. The good thing is, no one drained the pool). I observed a diverse visitor population and heard many languages. Civility was practiced by 99% of the people once on the elevator and while passing through the corridors. If you arrive in the evening after 6:00 p.m., you may have to wait for a Front Desk Attendant. A long wait. There may not be anyone at the front desk. Bring your patience. This is a tourist town, be careful where you park. Entertainment/dining are in parking ticket areas.
