You definitely get what you pay for. There was a very strong odor of marijuana in the lobby and it was also noticeable when we wheeled the room. The room wasn't dirty, but there's a large lack of maintenance going on. The heater in the room was very loud, the floor had a bunch of wear marks on it. There were what looked like burn marks on the bathroom sink. There was an outlet near the bed that didn't seem to be fastened to the wall.
The bathroom sink was very small. There is no hair dryer and nowhere to hang clothes. The toilet paper is far enough away from the toilet that you have to reach across the room to get it. The bed was very hard. The TV was only streaming, no cable, and they didn't have a generic hotel log in, they wanted us to use our log in information.
Overall, it was not a great place to stay. We didn't use the pool, but I believe it was not currently open anyway. We did not try the breakfast as there was only two options, waffles or something from the donut case, neither of which looked very appealing.
I understand the need to make a profit, but clearly this hotel, like so many others have put that need over maintaining and investing back into the business.
