We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Deanery. The staff so super friendly, accommodating and helpful. I can’t say enough about the phenomenal breakfast. The food was amazing and the staff was on it with impeccable service. Location just the across from Cathedral with a short walk to the square and ample free parking. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Perfect location. Excellent breakfast. We stayed in Room 11 with a view of the cathedral which is just over the street. The hotel is a very old building so it's a bit quirky which I like and obviously not modern. We are already planning our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Deanery. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and we loved the attention to detail. All the staff were very helpful and obviously enjoyed working at the hotel. We also liked the location and ease of parking. We will definitely recommend The Old Deanery to our friends.

Fantastic breakfast using only quality ingredients, best smoked salmon I’ve ever had. Had the taster menu one evening, never before have I tasted such wonderful food, chef Adam is a master of the culinary art.

We arrived late Saturday night, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Diners were leaving the restaurant and having a late drink in the reception lounge, so we went straight down as the atmosphere and service was again great. The next morning the breakfast was brilliant and the service personnel and informative. The location could not have been any better for the historic part of town and a great starting point for a long walk on Sunday.

I don't normally write reviews but was very pleased with our stay at the Old Deanery The staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. The breakfast was excellent and unique. Parking was good and even the owner of the Old Deanery suggested that we moved our classic car as it was parked under a tree to a more open space. The property is more or less opposite the Cathedral in Ripon so very convenient for the centre of town. Due to the unusual hot weather there were even fans in our room to help cool things down.
