We arrived to the cutest guest houses the abundance of tropical foliage and brick landscaping we’re so welcoming the pool was a bit chilly with the trees over head but it was clean and still enjoyable. The lounge chairs were free the whole time and we didn’t expect the coffee service in the morning but it was a delightful surprise. The room… modern industrial nicer than a few of the big corp hotels nearby! Bed was soo comfortable ac worked great our tv didn’t work but I didn’t come to watch tv soo didn’t care. Easy 2 block walk to the Duvall st food/bars & entertainment !! We only stayed two nights but they were the best nights of our week! If I had to list something I didn’t like it would be how often the roosters woke us up before we were ready to get up. Honestly would stay here over many other locations

We had a great stay. If you're looking for a quiet place of of Duval, I highly recommend this place. It's not a fancy place but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the pool is lovely. The location is fantastic! Walking distance to several nice restaurants and bars. Stores nearby. The hosts communicate very well. Anything we needed, they were on it right away with a text and let us know when to expect them. We will be booking here for our future stays.

Nice quiet place except for the roosters outside my window. Generally clean. Could use plastic cups or something in rooms. The towels are in need of major upgrade. Adequate for a solo’s needs last minute

We liked the clean room, access to pool was easy and so beautiful. Everything is so close by. Food, souvenir stores, beach. Parking the rental was dependent on finding a spot but luckily we would find one near. Most places in the area have limited parking. Management checked on us almost daily to make sure we had what we needed which was really nice. The chickens,roosters, iguanas were and added bonus.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent stay at Tranquility Guest House! I had a wonderful experience staying at Tranquility Guest House. The location is perfect — very central and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and everything Key West has to offer. The property is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax after exploring the island. What truly made the stay special was the outstanding customer service. The staff was always attentive, helpful, and available whenever we needed anything. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel very comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend Tranquility Guest House to anyone visiting Key West. It is a hidden gem with a great location, peaceful atmosphere, and exceptional service. I would definitely stay here again!

I was completely unaware that this is a not your usual guest house that has a lobby or check-in. There is not one. I wanted to check my bags early, but that was a chore. All of the gates are locked with keypads, and I don't have the combination. Finally I see a cleaning lady, and despite a language barrier, we figure things out and I she tells me to gate entry codes as well as the code to pickup my luggage from the cleaning closet. Finally, I was text messaged all of the information for my room and the door codes, etc. Pretty much, room service, towels, and amenities are upon request, and they send you test messages asking if you need anything. It was an interesting stay in that regard. And I checked out by text message too.

Unfortunately this did not live up to my expectations. I have visited Key West multiple times staying at boutique hotels off of duval, but this inn has been the worst so far. Pros are the location near duval and the pool. Cons are there are no front desk staff, no lobby, etc. this is a more like an Airbnb experience where you are sent instructions on getting in your room and that’s it (which is fine but it was not clear this was the case from my booking). This became a clear issue when our smoke alarm was malfunctioning creating a loud alarm and warning sound every thirty seconds that you could hear throughout the property at 10pm. This itself isn’t the issue, but the issue is since there isn’t a front desk staff I had to text the on call number. They claim 24/7 access to a representative, but I called about 20 times over the course of 45 minutes, left two voicemails and multiple texts, and did not receive a response. Finally about an hour later I receive a call and they moved us to another room. An hour isn’t that long to address an issue, but since I wasn’t sure if anyone was ever going to respond to us since no one was picking up the phone, I didn’t know if i was going to have to find a last minute open hotel late at night. If someone quickly responded with an update saying we would be moved to a new room within the hour, that’s no problem. But the no response for that long was ridiculous. Other cons include ants in both rooms we stayed as well as a potent smell

We stayed at Tranquility Guest House in July 2026 and really enjoyed our experience there. We booked a superior room which was plenty spacious, had a clothing rack, full length mirror, bistro dining set, mini fridge, microwave, and TV. Management reached out via text ahead of our stay to touch base with me and provide instructions for check in as there is no office on site. It was straightforward and we had no issues getting into our room. The first thing we noticed was how clean it was and how good the room smelled. We were there for a week and every time we came back to the room, it had such a fresh, clean smell. Any time we had an issue, management was easy to get in contact with. For example, shortly after our arrival, the key pad on the door to enter our room informed us the batteries were low and needed to be replaced. I texted management and they sent maintenance to fix it almost immediately. We really liked the keyless entry onto the gated premise and the room. It gave peace of mind not having to keep track of a key. The location was perfect. A stones throw from great restaurants and right off Duvall street. We could easily walk to most places and would catch the occasional Lyft when we wanted to quickly get to the other side of the island. Tranquility Guest House is a quaint and cozy hotel and we had no issues with the other guests. It was very quiet and only the occasional rooster or loud vehicle during the day. Overall we loved it and highly recommend!
