Not as advertised- staff allowed to not return ite
The Good Times Marina does not offer the cabins on Hotels.com, nor does it return items left in the room (less than 24 hours after departure). I booked a property that was advertised to have 2 twins, 1 queen, and 1 double, with a loft. Instead, it only had the double and a queen, and a futon. The manager told me the futon is equal to the 2 twins, meaning the unit still sleeps six. On a good day, the futon sleeps one adult, so 5, but again, it is not equivalent to 2 twins that could sleep 2 people, each with their own bed (kind of important). Additionally, I left a brand new shirt from Anthropologie with tags still on and a new bra, and less than 24 hours later I called to notify the hotel and was told the housekeepers threw the items away.
Does anyone believe a new shirt with tags on showing it cost $eighty nine dollars was thrown away, along with another new garment? It sounds like they let their staff pocket items left. Lastly, the "cottages" are literally in rows on gravel within 10 ft of each other. It is basically a parking lot of trailer cabins. I would never stay there again between the lack of ambiance/privacy/comfort and the allowed theft by staff.
