The gentleman at the front desk did an excellent job of rearranging and making things work for our family who needed 4 rooms.

The room was perfect. The bed very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating!! Breakfast was ok if you like waffles and bagels.

Inside was clean overall; staff was very friendly. Looks "down at the heels": lots of trash blowing around in the parking lot; run-down landscaping; front automatic doors did not work (seems to have been that way for awhile); ice machine out of order; most pitiful continental breakfast I've ever had (very few choices of food, and half of those were empty 45 minutes before closing time)

2/10 Mediocre

Besides the kind staff, I do not have many good things to say. The phone didn't work, no elevator, no wifi, front door was broken and had to be pulled open. Cops were there for a domestic problem, nightly parties in the parking lots, and it was 4 days before I saw housekeeping and hot water was hard to come by.

Do not stay here. Our room had mold on the curtains and lampshades. The A/C was unable to pull the moisture out of the air, so everything smelled musty and was damp/sticky. The parking lot was dirty and trash in it from guests and branches and twigs. There was wood rot on the exterior of the building. The bad thing is this is supposedly the best Rockdale had to offer. If I were you, stay in another town with better options and drive there if needed.

The staff was very friendly and very nice and understanding the room was amazingly, clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the hot water never got hot just lukewarm.

The sliding doors had duct tape on them and you had to pull them apart. I requested a accessible room because of a knee injury and the toliet was broken and bathroom flooded. No one fixed it. I was asked to check out early because they needed the room for someone else. I had to pack 5 days off luggage back in my car because they couldn't check me into another room until after 2. The whole stay was drama
