Everyone working here and staying here have been very nice, polite, and informative about the area.

It was clean, the AC was cold, and it was reasonably priced. Nothing fancy, but we had a good time staying here. We will be back again next year!

This motel has an old school motel charm. We wanted to save some money while staying in Newaygo and it was perfect for that. Know before you go: bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and soap (theirs is greasy and never comes back off). Also don’t expect perfection. The beds are thin and boney (they were comfy enough, but don’t expect a nice plush hotel mattress), heat/cool air happened to be perfect, paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom and there was a spider on the ceiling that never moved.. dead? The hotel staff were excellent, very kind and genuine people. Very trustworthy experience. My only request would be: could staff change the cleaning solution for the tile floors and give a good grout scrub? Everything felt oily to the naked foot. We spread towels out and were fine, but it could be a light lift to improve others’ experience.

It was a cheap place to stay on short notice. Will not be returning there.

Clean room, accommodating staff, each room has its own ac unit so I could adjust the temp as needed in the heat

Clean room, quiet, felt safe- it is better than other motels I’ve stayed at. Free coffee in the office for daily guests. They do have a small breakfast bar with cereal for daily guests.

If you just want a place to sleep and leave this place is for you. It's very outdated, dirty and uncomfortable. It's in dire need of a complete remodel!

Room was clean, but had an old cigarette smell. Shower head needed to be cleaned. Bedding and towels were clean. Comfortable room overall. Hallway and stairwell was very unkept. Quiet, would stay again.

The hotel was filthy and to make matters worse had NO hot water. I tried to get a refund to move elsewhere, but the manager refused. However, when confronted about the hot water situation, he just shrugged his shoulders and replied "sorry, nothing I can do"

Overall the room was fine but there was a loud banging noise all night long. It sounded like someone put a pair of shoes in a dryer by themselves. I'm sure that wasn't it but that's the sound it made. The manager spoke terrible English and there was no one else to talk to. It sounded like it was a 3rd or 4th language, not a second language. He also tried to communicate through a ring doorbell which made him more difficult to understand. So communication was a problem.
