This is a wonderful experience just like living in luca. Although the entryway is dark when you open the door once you hit the light switch it is easy up to the first floor. There is a reception room and all of the apartments are off that room. The owner supply coffee and drinking water. Conveniently you can purchase beer wine and other things that they stock in the refrigerator. The owner communicates very well in English. We will be returning to Luca only because they made us feel so at home

Lucca's little gem!

Beautiful accommodation with historic character and fantastic location. This was our second stay and we will come again. Everything perfect and Alessandro's communications were excellent and made check in and everything so easy.

Although my stay was brief, I throughly enjoyed my visit. Alessandro was very responsive to all of my questions. I would recommend paying extra for the breakfast. It was delicious. Now, you are on a Main Street so it can get loud if you’re not used to it, but it did not bother me or my partner. They also supply ear plugs! I would love to come back the next time I am in Lucca.

Guesthouse molto storica con terrazza panoramica. Tuttavia stanza piccola, fredda e con molto rumore dalla strada, senza nemmeno un armadio o un poggia valigia. Self check in, senza personale, posizione ottima per visitare Lucca.

It is a very unique place. Nicely decorated in the ancient/medieval style. Located in a busy area so you can be in the centre of Lucca and taste the atmosphere of the town. Very good contact with owners, you could feel very comfortable.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Stunning location right in the middle of the historic district. Alice was warm, welcoming, and gave us plenty of recommendations, which we greatly appreciated. Memorable stay in historic center of Lucca

Amazing location in the heart of Lucca. The room was beautiful and very characterful making it an unforgetable experience. Because of the central location and the old windows it can get noisy but this didn't bother us. The host was very helpful and gave us some very helpful recommendations.

I really love the charm of this place, my only negative comment is not actually about the place but the people outside at night as they can be loud while they stay in front of the hotel as they enjoy chatting. Hard to sleep at times.

Couldn’t have been better. It was such an amazing building in a wonderful central location. The communal lounge was traditionally decorated and so relaxing. The room was large and relaxing with top quality furnishings, super large comfy bed. Bathroom was great with a nice strong shower. Our host was enthusiastic, friendly and very helpful. We took his advice and went to the Puccini theatre performance and museum. We hope to visit again. Lucca is fabulous and not to be missed.

Place was lovely, staff member Alice was very helpful, good location. Breakfast for 6 euro nice. Small place with 4 rooms in very old but nicely updated house. Only downside was street noise that went on most of night making it hard to sleep. We were there on a Friday- maybe quieter during weekday. You cannot bring a car into that part of Lucca, so you should arrange garage which staff was helpful in doing
