The owner of the property has a serious attitude problem. I would not advise anyone, especially locals, to stay there. My family and I came for a short visit—I have three little ones and was the only one handling them. We paid for our stay, yet she made us feel lower than dirt simply because we were unaware that checkout time was at 10 a.m. I asked if I could pay for an extra hour, but she said no and went on a rampage in front of my children. I tried to stay as calm as I could.
There were no cleaning supplies, such as a mop or dustpan. My two-year-old had the flu during the trip and threw up on one of the towels. I used the towel because there was nothing else to clean it up with. She screamed at me and said I had to pay $15 for the towel, which I did, even though I know it didn’t cost that much.
Guests should not be treated like this. Our money is no different from anyone else’s, and you don’t treat people—or children—that way. I was appalled. She ruined our entire stay. Thank you to the staff members who showed grace, as they were clearly embarrassed by how their boss behaved. The customer service here is absolutely awful!
