The rooms were small, but we had a balcony with a mountain view that made it seem sweet. Without that it would have felt cramped. The breakfast was great, worth paying for it. Location was excellent. Roof pool is small but the view is fantastic.

Lovely Stay in the Heart of Nerja
Wonderful stay in the heart of Nerja. We travelled as a family (parents and two small children) and booked the quadruple room. We requested two double beds but since that wasn't available they put two sets of twin beds together and they were very comfortable and lovely. The rooms were spic and span and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff was phenomenal and everything was in walking distance. It rained a bit during our stay and we found the pool to be quite cold and the pool area to be a bit small for children. That said, the rooftop pool would be ideal for sunbathing in sunny weather. Thank you Hotel Cavana, we hope to return some day!

This was our second stay here and it did not disappoint. Everywhere is super clean and the staff go out of their way to help. The reception staff and the ladies that serve the food by the pool are amazing, thank you to them for making our stay special. Great hotel centrally located on plaza Cavana but very quiet. We had a room at the back with a Juliette balcony which overlooked another street yet could still sleep with the window opened. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and I could find nothing negative to say about this hotel other than I didn’t stay long enough!! Will definitely return.

The Balcony of Europe
The hotel is located at a short walking distance from the Balcony of Europe. The area is pedestrian (no car access), but there is a convenient underground parking at the Plaza de Espana around the corner. We had an upstairs room with a terrace with ocean view, away from the street noise, at the roof pool/bar level. There is one steep flight of stairs, but staff helped us with the luggage. The room, including bathroom, was very nice: quite large, very clean, nicely decorated, with plenty of storage space.

Central located, ok, BUT AVOID THE “romantic”ROOM
This hotel is very central located. Breakfast is ok, but not really outstanding. We booked the romantic room (at a higher) price but it was truly a disappointment…. Basically it’s a cave type room only with a light shaft… no outside view…. They try to compensate this room by offering a bottle of Cava and a box of chocolate…. And a type of spa standard bath tub…. It’s absolutely not worth the extra money.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location--super convenient to several beaches and plazas with dining. Roof area with pool and bar very nice, views off to the ocean. Staff were very helpful and courteous, A for them. Only complaint--they have parking in the building, but what a pain. Good luck finding it, as Google won't get you there. And you have to go the wrong way down a one-way street a short distance. And a staff member has to help you get in there. They should help by telling you some of this info. Next time I'd just park in the public lot a 5-minute walk away, much easier.
