You'd be hard-pressed to find a better spot in Valletta — right in the heart of the city with St. John's Co-Cathedral practically on your doorstep. The apartment itself is impressively spacious, key collection was smooth and hassle-free, and communication with the host was prompt throughout.
That said, a few things worth flagging for future guests. The shower drainage is poor — water backs up quickly, so you need to be fast or risk it flooding through to the kitchen and front door area. One of the bathroom sinks was also out of action due to a loose pipe, which was an inconvenience during our stay.
If you're booking through a third-party platform like Expedia, be aware that a €50 cleaning fee isn't flagged upfront — it only appears after booking, which feels a little sharp. Worth knowing in advance so it doesn't catch you off guard.
Finally, the sofa bed in the second bedroom was uncomfortable — the cushions don't sit well when folded out — and the room lacks a blind on one window, meaning an early wake-up call from the sun is almost guaranteed.
Overall, the location and space are genuinely excellent, and with a few fixes this could easily be a five-star stay. Would consider returning if the maintenance issues are addressed
