El Risco de Hugo es un lugar encantador. Despertar con aquella vista es un privilegio. Su propietario nos recibió y a lo largo de nuestra estancia siempre estuvo en comunicación y muy pendiente de nuestras inquietudes. Las instalaciones están impecables! 150% recomendable. Volveremos!

An amazing place to stay in the mountains. Breathtaking views, the Studio Suite was modern, and comfortable, loved the way it was setup. You have a private area to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Host was so welcoming and attentive. We loved it, highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Risco de Hugo property. The lodgings were beautiful, everything was super clean, the views were amazing, and the general area was peaceful and serene. One of the owners, Jared, was super friendly and really went above and beyond to tell us about the area, help us with the fire pit, coordinate parking with newcomers, etc. Best stay of our month-long trip - we highly recommend!

This property is beautiful. Is a space to relax. If you are a couple and have friends, you want them there so you can share a awesome time. The view and the weather is awesome. I will return soon that's how good the experience was.

This was a great place to stay! A nice small set of well appointed efficiency type almost apartments. A lot of windows and spectacular views. In the mornings we walked to a nearby coffee farm for our morning coffee. The vibe and feel of the rooms, surroundings and owners is very laid back but on point. It has almost and Alpine/Country feel, but super clean and roomy. The owners were very accommodating and friendly, with a great story of how they built this using Jose Luis' vision, and a plan for adding a few more cabins/rooms. The location is a short drive up the mountain from town on a newly paved road. So, you have the secluded feeling surrounded by mountains, with town only a few minute drive. Boquete is great, too. This was our first time there and loved just exploring by car and foot. Go to Boquete and stay with Jared and Jose Luis.

Risco De Hugo is a beautiful, high-elevation stay with incredible views that are absolutely worth the short drive from Boquete town. The moment you arrive, the calm and quiet atmosphere makes it feel like a true escape. The building is brand new, and the room has all the modern amenities you could ask for. It even includes an elevated bunk-style bed above the washroom, allowing space for up to four guests if needed. We stayed as a couple, so we didn’t use the upper bed, but it’s definitely a great option for families or groups. The view from the room — especially from the bed — is magical. You wake up to mountains, clouds, and pure tranquility. It’s quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing, noise-free getaway. Our host, Gerard, was fantastic. He was always available, quick to answer any questions, and even welcomed us personally when we arrived. His hospitality made the stay feel smooth and comfortable from start to finish. Overall, I give Rosco D. Hugo a full 5/5 for the service, comfort, and unforgettable views. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful, elevated stay near Boquete.
