This place is great especially if you are a fan of Soviet nostalgia. It is a grand old hotel built when Comrade Stalin controlled this part of the world but other than the careful restoration, there is nothing Soviet about this place. It’s old property was probably built during the Stalin era. The location is great being right on shopping area. Metro is close and although much is a furniture should be remodeled. It does bring you back in time as you walk through the hotel lights are off during the day and kind of dark hallways.
