El guest house es como una casa rural antigua impecablemente mantenido. Las personas a cargo, encantadoras, ofrecen un excelente servicio. Muy buen desayuno.

Lovely. The staff are very nice and helpful. Small room but very confortable. Close to bus stop within 10 minutes to downtown. Thanks to staff, their were great. Highly recommended.

The place is excellent to me. I've read some of the comments here about the place is being old.. well all I want is a place to sleep over cause I will be exploring Scotland all day and this place is perfect to me. Location, its about 20 to 30 mins by bus when going to City Center. Bus stop is very near the place. Only few steps away. About the service, its very good. I encountered some minor problem upon check in and I reported it immediately and they take action very quick. I have to commend them on that. They serve free breakfast and the staff are very accomodating. Surely will book here again when I go back to Scotland. It is worth it what you pay for.

Check-in was confusing. Was sent a WhatsApp to fill out information online to get check-in information. Got receipt confirmation, but nothing about how to check in. Arrived at the location and sent a WhatsApp asking how to check in - no response. Went to the front door and tried to call the number listed and it didn't work. Rang the bell, and got an automated message saying no one was available. Went back to my car to try to call another number, and several minutes later, someone came outside asking if we were trying to check in. The person checking us in was very nice. Got to our room, which is very dated and not very clean. There was a layer of dust on many parts of the room, and the throw pillows on the beds were stained. The bathroom reeked of urine, and looked like there was mildew in many places. The only positives of this place were the fact it had parking, and the staff were very kind at check-in and breakfast.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed at. Incredibly old gross building that is not suitable for inhabiting. We had three nights booked but left and booked elsewhere after our first night, despite knowing we wouldn’t be refunded. I couldn’t stay there any longer.

this was one of the priciest properties that we had during our 10 day trip and location wasn’t even very good. No other property that we stayed at including ones with better locations and lower prices had conditions like this. There were spiders and spider webs in the shower and on our towels. The bathroom had grime around the bottom. Room items were rusty, threadbare, and in general disrepair. The carpet had a greasy feeling. The mattresses were stained and literally flattened with age. The towels were ragged and the blankets were pilled and matted and weren’t long enough to cover our feet. We didn’t see a single staff member the entire time and I imagine it’s because they wouldn’t be able to look their “guests” in the eye with the conditions they provided at their ridiculous price.

People are complaining about house being old, well, it is and that’s fine. You are only sleeping in there to enjoy city. Parking was fine, close to supermarket if you need anything. Check up possible direct with the owner. No problem what's whatever.

Tried to contact the guest house prior to arrival but helpline kept hanging up and I never got any replies to my emails. Guest house is extremely dated with repairs needed. Toom waa not good! Stains (food or drinks) on the walls. Stain that could have been washed away but have simply been ignored. Stains and burns on the carpet. Stains on the bedding. Mold in the bathroom and rusted radiator next to toilet. I spent about an hour on site before booking another hotel online and leaving this guest house. I dont recommend!

The service was not very good. We had one lady come at 9 am everyday when it is posted for her to come at 11am. The carpets were extremely gross with red stains across the length of our room, and the beds we super uncomfortable. That being said I wouldn’t not stay here, they just need to fix a few things.

This guest house is in a good location for visiting the hospital, but it is in need of a revamp the stair carpet is in need of replacing it is totally worn out the electric socket in my room was broken and i did not chance using it. You had to put the kettle on the floor as the flex was too short. And in the 2 days i was there I never saw a member of staff, I had to phone the hotels number to ask someone a question. For the price of this guest house per night it was disappointing

Where trying to get into the building was stressful due to a lack of connection to Expedia systems, once we were in the lady was helpful n attentive. The room was all we needed and was clean n tidy. We loved the fact you can grab a bus to take you into the city, so close. The wonderful lady in the morning got to know us and confirmed our coffee and toast order. She knew us and was so warm and friendly . This place is perfect to sleep, grab your breakfast before you head out for the day to explore Edinburgh. When you are on vacation it hits the spot and I would come back again in a heart beat and stay with you all.

Fy skäms att lägga en bild på slottet som ligger en bit ifrån, vi hade haft stora förhoppningar på det där lilla extra och blev otroligt missnöjda. Detta är mer som ett hostel , inget hotell. Trasiga tapeter och mattor. Stora fläckar på mattorna. Ända positiva var en Continental frukost som inte var inbokad.
