The room had a kitchenette and lounge area all in one. It meant that the tv was located on the wall above a 3/4 height fridge and the old box style airconditioning was noisy so we couldn't use it. We had to stomp the ants on the tiles floor in the kitchen/lounge. Otherwise, the room was acceptable. The motel units are occupied by a mix of full time and casual guests.The worst feature was the request from an unknown mobile number requesting a credit card when the room had been paid in full by Expedia. We had to phone Expedia who immediately contacted the hotel and sorted out the problem. The tax invoice issued by the motel doesn't reflect the amount we paid Expedia. They may have issues with what they pay Expedia, but we have not had an experience like this in any other state of Australia, nor when we have booked with Expedia in Japan, US, Canada, Denmark, UK, Norway etc. Sorting out the booking delayed our departure before a 6 hour drive. We will not return to this hotel or others in the group after this experience.
