The front desk attendant, Alexa, was rude and completely unprofessional. Due to her own errors, she stated that our reservation would not be honored and told us it was our responsibility to resolve the issue. This was all taking place at 11:00 pm with no option of staying somewhere else. She then moved on to the next customer and was no help to me or my husband until we stated we were going to contact her management. She then stated, close to an hour later, that would try to call to see if someone knew what the issue is. Again, this was all after I said we were going to contact her management. The error was her error alone and was due to her trying to charge an incidental charge to a third party (Expedia). She told us at the beginning our card was declined when in fact it was already paid for and what was being declined was the digital/virtual payment from the third party (Expedia) of whom we booked the room through because she was over charging them. The way she spoke to us was very disrespectful, degrading, unprofessional and humiliating in front of other customers accusing us of being the cause of this error. Everybody makes mistakes and it’s not the error that is the issue. The way we were treated and the way it was handled is the issue.
