We had a lovely stay. The staff and service were great. The other guests were friendly and thoughtful. I remember when they had the great restaurant, but it's now closed. I will return when I am in the area again. I particularly like that it's located away from the tourists, but so close to Solvang, Buellton and Los Olivos.

Quaint and cozy, Ballard Inn was a pleasant stay. Located near many vineyards, and offering discounted tastings to many of them, it was the perfect place to map out your vineyard stops. Yummy breakfast to start your day and even tastings in the early evenings. A must when you're in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Great location and very clean accommodation. Air conditioning is super strong too which is a bonus for the hot summer days. Only downside is that there are not many amenities. No TV, no robes, no slippers. Aside from that, it's fantastic

Stayed only one night. Experience was positive. Staff very helpful. Came just in time for the happy hour. Cheeses, some crackers, fruit and wine. Breakfast satisfactory to start the day. A very good bakery in the front. Close to the idyllic los olivos downtown. Hiking trails. Santa Barbara over the mountain route 154 30 minutes. Definitely can recommend.

Right in the perfect location for wine tasting . 2 miles from Los Olivos town . Pretty & well kept bed n breakfast . Had the largest room offered , the mountain room . Zero tv’s in room , guessing since it’s so quiet and thin walls all guests would hear . No elevator if that’s needed . Breakfast was good . Welcome check in girl wasn’t friendly , had us pour our own welcome champagne while she checked us in . Complaining she had to work on holiday and her birthday … and annoyed when we needed plates later , and pointed to where they were all annoyed with zero words , rude and zero customer service. Morning front desk gal was bubbly and friendly and how we expected to be greeted and not a burden . $422 for one night stay is way way over priced . I’d say $250 maximum should be more like it .
