Absolutely loved the BnB. It is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly. It is about a ( minute drive to Hole in Wall/Thompson beach and there’s also a beach within walkable distance.

This B&B made our Christmas! It was so beautiful, clean and like nothing I've stayed in before. The staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful. We loved our two nights so much we booked a third. If I'm ever in Ballito again I will absolutely be staying here.

This hotel is a superb gem in Salt Rock. It is very nicely decorated properly making you feel as if you are in Provence. The rooms are stunning and the communal areas are great. I loved that the top pool gets sun light all day long making it perfect for lounging and tanning. The breakfast is great - amazing fried eggs !! The staff is super helpful and always smiling. The property is very close to the beach and about 15 min walk to restaurants bars and a grocery shop so you are all covered. I would stay here again in a whim

Excellent location of property with a local French charm. The 09h30 breakfast closure time is rather childish especially on weekends, come on extend the time. Hot water ran out, maybe it was a maintenance problem during my stay...would be awkward if it was permanent. Overall lovely

"We're delighted to report that our third stay at Petit Provence was just as enchanting as the first two. The comfort of our bed was surpassed only by the warmth of the staff, who once again proved themselves to be attentive and accommodating. The hotel's location is ideal, with the beach is a short walk away and Thompson's and Willard's beaches a short drive.While the dog-friendly atmosphere was a major draw for us, it's the Petit Provence's understated elegance and tranquil ambiance that keeps us coming back. Not allocated the booked and paid for suite. Inattentive almost absent staff. Major gecko infestation inside and outside rooms gives this dated property an unhygienic appearance.

The fact that I could take my little dogs along is a massive PLUS. The staff are very friendly and pleasant even towards the animals. I highly recommend Petite Provence, to animal lovers, old, young and families. Parking is a little squeeze.

France meets South Africa

A tastefully decorated property with great attention to detail. The Coquelicot suite was a new spacious open plan room on the first floor, bi-folding doors opened onto a large balcony with tree top views towards the ocean. Cooked breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The garden and pool were well maintained and a pleasure to sit in. The beach was within walking distance as were some local restaurants. A lovely peaceful, clean b & b.

Old=fashioned B&B with a good breakfast

The room is quite outdated - the sink has two faucets, the floor seems old and there are no carpets, but the bed is comfortable and the TV has many channels. The breakfast was great and fulfilling, and the hosts were very helpful and welcoming.
