While the bed was clean and comfortable, the rest of the room was beyond shabby(not unclean but worn out). The hallways had random upside down furniture and tables. Did not match pictures.

So, their hearts and ambition are in the right place. It has strong potential to be a beautiful historic hotel. However, they should not be open yet. I know they have to make money to continue their work on the renovation, but it is not ready to have customers. The room was not very clean. They took a 50.00 deposit ( refunded) for amenities, but there were no amenities. NOTHING. No restaurant, no mini bar, no extra towels, no working ceiling fan. Just not at all a positive experience, EXCEPT for the owners. They were lovely, and their excitement was contagious for their passion project, but it's not ready. There is a bar/restaurnat associated with the hotel, but the restaurant was not open. The bar opened later in the evening, and they sold appetizers. However, the bar was open until 4 am, and when it closed, there was a group of young people who were hanging out in front of the hotel and in the parking lot across the street just hanging out. Leaning on our car and being very loud. Sorry, it is a beautiful building, but please, its not ready. GOOD LUCK

As a solo woman traveler, safety and cleanliness are really important. The Fallon Hotel fulfilled both -- a quiet downtown with the young family owners in residence. The bed linens and towels were immaculately white and the bed super comfortable. Also important to me is avoiding chain hotels where each one looks like the last. Travel should bring new experiences. The Fallon Hotel comes through again, a huge old building in a historic old town along the Susquehanna River. And it's a great opportunity for people who love old buildings to get a glimpse into one family's dream project (a big one ....). I think some rooms are more restored than others and the one I had still needed a few minor tweaks. But I loved the original sink and bathtub, the light fixtures, etc. I hope they continue to "lean" into and restore these special features that make for a true historic hotel experience. I'll definitely stay there again.

It was terrible! The hotel was under repair, had a terrible odor throughout, dirty with dust and clutter everywhere. What a farce on the pictures that was posted on the website. Our room was pre-paid and non-refundable and they refused to return our payment. We did not stay there. There were no other people in the hotel and we had to call a phone number to have a person come to the front desk after waiting for over 15 minutes.' I would never recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy.

It was fun to stay in such an old exquisite hotel. The owner was very helpful and escorted us to our room. The Wi-Fi password was easily obtained. And the beds were very soft and cushioned and received a great nights rest.

While The Fallon Hotel is still a work in progress, the exceptional customer service made a strong impression. The southern style food at the in house restaurant was very tasty. I can see this hotel becoming a top destination once the construction is complete.

Charming historic hotel in the heart of a scenic Pennsylvania town. We came here for a spur of the moment holiday road-trip and were very pleased with our stay. Owners are friendly and responsive, and though the building shows it's age they obviously put a great deal of care into keeping it up and running. 10/10 would stay again

This is an old hotel in need of extensive renovation. Room was clean. Bed was very soft. There weren’t many outlets and no WiFi. Proprietor was gracious.
