Our stay was good, room was clean and fresh with lots of little extra touches. The breakfast in pub was amazing, freshly cooked to order. Will be back and definitely recommend.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay . The accommodation is all being updated with new bathrooms and redecoration , however this did not impact on our stay . Our room is yet to be updated but was very comfortable with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and biscuits . The food in the Dog and Gun next door was very good, and again the staff were lovely . A fabulous visit and we will be back again next year .

The staff were great! The rooms were very good as well. The pool was relaxing. It was a nice, calm, comfortable stay with great views. The Dog & Gun pub has tasty meals for both dinner and breakfast. The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic.

Excellent staff and accommodation. The only minor niggle was the lack of WiFi…

4/10 Aceptable

Plenty of parking and situated in a beautiful spot. The property looks lovely and rooms are comfortable enough. Breakfast is not included, so be prepared to pay for your breakfast. Food is provided in the pub, The Dog and Gun. The staff are friendly, but that is where the positive experience stops. My husband and I ate in the pub on our first night then he spend all night and the next day in the bathroom, ill. The second night I had to send back 2 meals for different reasons. Breakfast is either toast or a cooked breakfast, and only available between 8am and 9am, so is quite limited

Ideal location for a trip to the Moors

Ideal location for visit to Yorkshire Moors. We were at a wedding, but took advantage of a long weekend break and were not disappointed. Room was great, perhaps a little dated but clean and very comfortable. Pub next door was perfect for breakfast and dinner on our first night
