Beautiful location with multiple wallaby nearby. Place did look a little outdated but overall the bed was comfortable, the water pressure for a shower was amazing, and we enjoyed ourselves

The property is older with beautiful gardens. 15-20 minutes walk into town and regular buses that go all over the island. The fact the units have a kitchenette is great with an IGA close by.

Lovely room, small but has most things for comfort. Could have another cereal bowl, only one for two guests. Like the opening screening back sliding door for fresh air. Comfy bed, plenty of pillows. Good online communication, helpful and prompt.

We were here for a festival onsite so was very convenient. The bus stop was just outside and easy to get around the island. The grounds were nice. Our room needed some maintenance though. No shower screen door, drawers in wardrobe didn’t close. Staff were helpful but all reception was off site.

I liked the room it was nice and clean, the property is nicely looked after, nice bonuses like hot water and good water pressure also convince with the restaurant near by. Exactly what you'd be looking for if wanting to stay at Maggie for a few nights, the pricing for what you get is also quite good compared to other places

Resort was designed fantastically with salt pool, function room, tennis courts, manucured gardens with water featers, gazebos, viewing areas, nice grassed spaces. Beautiful location on side of a hill with views and bus stop right out front, but beware it is a slight walk from the wharf. Slightly past it's prime but the bones are solid and rooms at amaroo newly refurbished which means you get all the benefit for great price. Small downside is as the resort rooms are privately owned there is no resort/Amaroo reception. Amaroo is one operator of rooms within the resort but you won't check in with a person or have anywhere to securely leave your bags on your first or last day if that's an issue. Otherwise fantastic experience and would return.

Travelled with my young children, they absolutely loved the resort pool and all the birds and animal life! The staff were very friendly and had lots of helpful advice about what was open as we traveled just after new years. Highly recommend, lovely quiet place to stay.
