It had lovely clean linen and towels. Rain shower was good. It's a very old hotel & it showed in the windows, fixtures, carpet, curtains and things like that. Although there's no excuse for the room not being cleaned properly. It had very dirty cupboards, bedside tables, drawers & garbage bin!! and, no bible! I guess you get what you pay for and it was a reasonable price! Happy to had cleaned linen & nice shower.

We had an overnight stay at Bellbird Hotel as we were in the area for the day and decided to support local instead of returning to Sydney. The hotel itself is great. Bar staff could be more engaging. Accommodation was comfortable though a little tired. Wouldn’t take much to freshen it up, have a decent (hanging) wardrobe and full tea/coffee facilities. Shower pressure fantastic. The huge upstairs verandah was divine to relax on and enjoy the late afternoon. Enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, big servings. Lucky we checked the menu online as the menus on table didn’t have the full menu. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of free off street parking. Would definitely recommend for an overnighter!

Cheap and Cheerful Stay

We were after a cheap but cheerful hotel for the night as we were attending an event early in the morning. The Bellbird Hotel was just that. Excellent place to stay. we will return.

The room was clean and satisfactory for budget accommodation. The restaurant was very good. There was an inside restaurant and an outside undercover restaurant with outside bar and a large screen for watching sport and music played throughout the area. The staff were friendly and approachable and nothing was too much effort.

Yes, the linen was fresh and beds comfortable. We would have liked aircon as we had booked Oct 25 and were only ones without it. There was a jug and cups but no coffee or tea etc. The new bathrooms were lovely. We would come again as good for the price. Great breakfast too.

Our room smelled, was not the cleanest. Our toilet was blocked. Our kettle was put on the upside down plastic bin, not very safe, or hygienic. We had one coffee cup for the two of us. The biggest surprise was the verhanda, it was unkept, not keen to step outside. The ceiling obviously had a leak and was very stained. The new bathroom was clean, but the shower rose had water from the top and bottom, bit afraid it might fall. What a disappointment for accommodation, but the Bistro did look clean, but no breakfast available, so not sure of the quality of food.

Lovely stay, your average pub accomodation. The shared bathrooms are clean and well kept. The only thing we didn’t love was that the bin in the room was small so we needed to find a bin outside to get rid of our rubbish. Other then that we loved it!
