Another Slouchy and Poorly Managed Unit in Accra
Navigation to the property is challenging as no one seems to know it by this name, even the guards in front of the building are confused.
No one at reception (to the extent that it even has a reception), guards ask you to make local phone calls to find out how to get in, then ask you for money to tell you where your room is (after you find out your key, along with duplicates of all the others, are lying unguarded and unattended atop the front desk). Lots of loitering of folks that clearly are not employed, all throughout the property. Gym facility really under par, as was staff support and reaction. I wrote one message through the booking engine 3 days before arrival and never received a response, then wrote 2-3 times over WhatsApp and also never received a response, including the time when the neighboring rooms were having an incredibly rude late-night party.
The wifi was effective.
The management group for this property is one that I have had the misfortune to encounter (somewhat stealthily) behind many of the Hotels.com listings. They name their properties such that ownership is not obvious, but their ownership and management style and negligence is immediately identifiable any time you stay with them.
