Wonderful stay at M17. The place is a perfect location to shops and restaurants. The service from Joanne was outstanding. She was very helpful with check in and check out. We loved our stay here! Clean, spacious studio with bed, a little table and kitchenette. Location was only a 4 minute walk to Monastiraki Square, tons of shopping, restaurants and views of the Acropolis. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet home base, but close to a busy city environment! The hosts were so friendly and helpful and provided wonderful service and information. Excellent stay in Athens

We came to M17 at the end of a 10 night cruise. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to securely leave our luggage and explore some of the local sites well before check in time. They provided hints such as places to eat. The room was large with a kitchenette. Excellent bed. M17 is in a great location, within walking distance of the major historical sites. Overall, we would stay there again when returning to Athens.

A very well appointed property in the heart of Monastiraki, within walking distance of all the touristic sites or, if not, certainly within reach by metro and public transportation. Just a couple of minuses: the area can be noisy, so if you have trouble sleeping, you should request a quiet room. Similarly, some of the other guests (with a baby, for example) were noisy. My particular room was on the first floor (2nd floor US) and, while one of the windows in the sleeping area had a privacy film, the others didn’t. This meant I had to be careful not to parade around naked, or I had to draw the blinds. Finally, the reception is not 24 hours, so be aware of that if are arriving very late or very early.
