The parts that were being used was well maintained. There were many areas not being used but still a very nice hotel. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Paco showed me many restaurants and things to do in the city, he was very helpful

Loved the time we spent here. The reviews complain about the highway and it being loud. The whole time we were there it was quiet and peaceful. The food and drinks were delicious. The massages at the spa were very relaxing. All in all we will be definitely returning back!!! Perfect way to spend our honeymoon!

Restaurant was the highlight

The safe was friendly and we ended up upgrading to the all-inclusive for our one night stay. They say there is beer in the room but this is only true and included if the all-inclusive is booked. The eco-friendly part was big for us but this does effect if you have water or not in your room. At times we did not. The restaurant was delicious and a highlight. While we were there during the off season, it is an adult only resort BUT the owners kids were using the pool, this was a disappointment for what we were expecting in our experience.

2/10 Poor

The service was very very poor. There was no hope water. There was no water at night when you want to use the bathroom. The had the same food everyday. In general the hotel was horrible

What a beautiful jungle retreat. Perfect for a family vacation or trip with friends. Staff are all friendly and welcoming, Santiago, Fili, Mario and all of the staff at the brewery restaurant were simply amazing, thank you for making our first family trip to Tulum so memorable and enjoyable. One thing to remember is good bug repellent because the mosquitos were just as hospitable as the employees.

There is a cenote on site, which is great...but you cant swim in it, which is not great! Service os excellent and the all inclusive meals are very, very good!

It is a nice traditional decor, but need better management. No hot water during my stays, during the night water hot shut off, because I could not flush the toilet twice after using it. I had to use bottled water for 2 days that I had an early pickup for my activity. Same menu, when you do all inclusive and very limited. Some days you will ask for something they told you they do not have it. I will not recommend it to anyone.

I’d like to start off by giving a big thanks to Abram the front desk Receptionist And Ezekiel the waiter of the restaurant The hotel was beautiful and rustic And the pool was open for us pretty much everyday day both pools to be exact Were wide open everyday Great thing was there’s a beach club right across the high way , that’s very Inexpensive The restaurant food was good , we tried different plates since we stood here for 5 nights Over WE WILL be coming back with friends

The place was clean and staff was delightful. Vety unique property. They are still updating. The breakfast included was light but satisfying. We dined several times in the attached resturant and everything was delicious. The unlimited in room beer was a treat. It is far so rent a car or minibike however across the highwaythere is a beach club with a small fee to visit. Overall a great stay
Danielle Collette, 6-night trip

It says all Inclusive but when we arrived at the resort all inclusive is limited to a special menu. For example no hard alcohol is included. And for the beer you are only allowed 1 type in the all included. The staff were very nice but not trained very well.

Best receptionist I have ever encountered. I had interactions with two different front desk employees. They were fantastic! Room was nicely appointed, pool was clean and inviting. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was outstanding. Lucky for us there was an Q acrobatic act for en. One of the best meals I have eaten in Mexico.i would highly recommend this hotel, brewery and restaurant!

Luxury? Pretentious.

Front desk and restaurant crew is the best in the hotel. Breakfast sucks. Bed sheets are not cotton. Hotel was empty, is very far away from everything.

8/10 Very good

Very cute place and love that the Tulum letters are in front of the property, that way I didn't have to search for one. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because when we got there, there was nobody to greet us- we had to go inside the spa. Room was so beautiful, however the pool in our room looked very dirty and the one on the balcony same. They needed to be clean or put a tarp on top or something, I really wanted to enjoy some pool time. Other than that we felt safe around the place.
Ingrid, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

We had a great experience through dinner at the Cervecería. The restaurant performances were amazing and the service was stellar, seemed very underrated. The hotel room itself was also very nice. However, our experience was tarnished by an incident of theft. There was an accident on the highway that left the hotel without electricity from early morning hours and the rest of our stay until checkout around noon. The problem is, the door locks depend on electricity for a magnet locking mechanism. Because it was so hot in the room without AC in the morning, we went for a walk around the property, which itself is very rundown and overgrown. Looks like a wasteland, or a ghost town. We even considered going in the pool until we saw a dead bird floating in what was already unclean looking water. While we were on our walk, someone went into the room and stole my coin purse with about $200 in cash, and the room couldn’t be locked due to the electricity problem. What started as a great experience was ruined. The staff said there are cameras the owner can check, but if they depend on electricity that won’t be helpful. We weren’t expecting any help.
April, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

We booked a two-night stay at La Cervecería Tulum Boutique Hotel, expecting a pleasant experience, but it was highly disappointing. Upon arrival, we weren’t told that the rooms were up four flights of stairs, and the digital key, accessed via an app, didn’t work when attempting to enter. The hotel felt deserted, with no staff present—only a cat wandering around. Its location next to a noisy highway undermined the “boutique” vibe. We upgraded to a “jacuzzi room,” but the tub was poorly placed by the entrance with no lighting. Our friends’ room had one bed, forcing one to sleep on the floor. A requested duvet never arrived. The room also had a wasp infestation—over 20 inside and a swarm on the patio, our friend was stung by a wasp while trying to sleep at night. A rainstorm flooded their entrance. Both rooms had only one towel per person for two nights, and the hot water never worked, leaving us with cold showers. The next morning, no staff were available by 9:30 AM, and multiple calls went unanswered. Expedia couldn’t reach the hotel either and advised waiting 72 hours. A restaurant employee later said they couldn’t assist, and another claimed the hotel was “closed for personal reasons,” which was unacceptable without prior notice. The poor location, lack of service, and unresolved issues made our stay stressful. We’re still awaiting a refund for the night we didn’t stay and cannot recommend this hotel. If the hotel was “closed” on the 18th we demand a refund

Incredible service and great experience in Tulum

Amazing stay at Tulum Brew House. While it was off-season in Tulum and the hotel was quiet, the service we received from the hotel staff was consistently exceptional. They went out of their way to help ensure we had a memorable experience, including by providing a complimentary “beer bath”, following by time in their private garden spa. The hotel also provided an outstanding meal and cocktails to watch their incredible aerial dance evening show and a tour of their on-site eco-brewery. The hotel is boutique in style and new, with a picture perfect pool, nice restaurant/bar and modern rooms. Our room was fairly small but comfortable and impeccably cleaned each day. Overall, a great hotel experience. Minor downside is that the hotel is a few miles outside of central Tulum, so a hire car is beneficial (taxis are expensive). The free minibar beer and water was also very welcome! Thank you for making our time in Tulum so special!
Paul, 6-night trip

6/10 Good

Staff was so friendly and the grounds are nice but the noise is just unbearable. First is the noise from the main road but the worst part was the music was blaring at the club and the pool way into the night. When I say loud I don't mean like some music in the background. It was like speakers full blast. The rooms all surround the pool so there is no escaping it. Equivalent of having a rave in your room. We left 2 days early and ate the cost just to get away from the noise. We only saw a couple more guests and no one at the pool ever so not sure why music had to be so loud the entire time. Good beer makers, Terrible hoteliers.
Jason, 4-night trip

Let me start by saying the grounds around the hotel are still in the works, as the hotel is only a year old, and I will return when it is complete because it is going to be even MORE amazing! The hotel is located just a few minute drive from Tulum, but getting a ride is easy, and cheap! Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was how unique the place was going to be and it did not disappoint. It is like a treehouse for adults with multiple bar and pool areas and a tree top observation deck with 360 degree views. It is right on the highway so there is some traffic noise as expected, but I did not find it bothered me or took away from the experience. Due to the time I visited, early December, the hotel, which consists of just 15 rooms, was nearly entirely vacant and there were a couple days when I was the only guest which was a cool experience as it didn't seem they cut back on staff at all. The restaurant had visitors every day and in the evening they had a DJ with light show which was a blast. Even though I was the only guest and a solo traveler, the staff joined in and they actually bring people in just to keep the party going and keep it going we did! The staff were intent on making sure that I had a great time and that I did. If you go, say hi to Jennifer, one of the employees at the party, she is still learning English but we had great laughs using google translate and she is just a bright, fun, light hearted person. I will be back with friends next time!

We just finished a 5 night stay and it was perfect! Once we arrived, you couldnt help but be in awe of the openess and beauty of the property, allowing you to feel connected to the nature and jungle all around you. The 2 pools were gorgeous and the views from the observation deck were breath taking both during the day and at night. Originally we had reserved 2 rooms, one for my sister and my mom and another for my boyfriend and myself. At the time we checked in, it was not handicap accessible. This was a small ripple in our plans because we did call ahead since my mom was going to stay with us and she is purely in her electric wheelchair. The property manager immediately had ramps built to allow my mom to access the pool level room in a matter of hours. They assured us they were getting an elevator soon. The Tulum beer is so delicious that we drank it from the moment we woke up until we went to bed (I know, borrachos). Since it is made from sea water, it contains a lot of nutrients and you never feel dehydrated, bloated or hungover. The brewery tour with Ivan was very educational and enjoyable. We learned how they make the beer and Agua de Mar onsite. The food at the restaurant was a little pricy, but it was delicious and worth it. The aerial and fire dancers were amazing and the Dj was great. Overall, the ambiance and hospitality of this place is phenomenal and allows you to relax, unwind and ground yourself with the beauty surrounding you. We will definitely return soon!

2/10 Poor

My recent stay at Tulum Brewhouse Boutique Hotel in Tulum turned into a nightmare due to their unethical practices, specifically regarding unauthorized charges to my credit card. Upon returning home, I discovered charges for towels that were supposedly missing from our room. The audacity of charging me when I communicated to them that we did not take such towels and charging me merely “towels” before giving details of the accusation. When given details, they listed one beach towel, and then further invoiced for multiple other towels. It is completely unacceptable. This breach of trust reflects poorly on the hotel's integrity and customer care. Aside from this troubling incident, our stay was marred by multiple power outages, unaddressed safety concerns such as loud noises and glass smashing next door, and a general lack of responsiveness from the staff during our stay. Additionally, the hotel allowed loud music to play late into the evening, disrupting our sleep and overall experience. The staff's unhelpfulness extended to recommendations and transportation assistance, as they were dismissive and told us to find our own way from the airport. There was construction and banging from construction of hotel which staff did not tell us.
