We have been staying at Katti house for over 10 years. Maria is lovely and everyone is so helpful. It is in a great location for going anywhere in the city. the rooms are quiet and beautifully decorated. We love staying there and always feel so welcome.

The staff are helpful, the location is convenient but the room is stuffy and the window overlooks a dingy space between buildings. It’s ok for a 1 night stay but I would not have stayed longer

The location was great. The staff was nice. They can do a better job in cleaning. Mosquitoes are the main issues during our stay.

Clean hotel, nice bed, huge bathroom although not en suite. The smoker was kicked out by the hotel staff (Thank you). Excellent location as very near the train station Sta.Maria Novella. There are a lot of restaurants below the hotel. There are Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and of course Italian restaurants to choose from. We got a 10 % discount from eating at Katti restaurant. Thank you Katti for a nice stay.

Clean spacious room in a lovely old building. Excellent location in central Florence, close to everything you need. Good sound proofing to outside. Aircon worked well. Great coffee!

Loved the location but was a bit surprised when we checked in at the office, we actually needed to walk a few blocks to the location where we actually stayed. The rooms were spacious along with the bathrooms. Our mattress was a bit on the hard side. A soft mattress pad would go a long ways. The staff was very accomodating.

My stay at Katti House was NOT pleasant. Upon arrival at the check-in location, I had to wait over an hour for someone to show up. The phone listed in Expedia is incorrect. When a lady finally showed up, she didn't seem happy. Why? I don’t know. Her office was a mess, and she couldn’t find my reservation. After waiting about 15-20 minutes, she found that the reservation took my passport information. And guided me to a location nearby for my room. The place looks dirty and smells bad. I saw laundry bags as we walked the stairs to my room. My room was not ready. She (the lady) gave a second room near the stairs. The room had a musty smell, the bathroom was too small, the small TV had wires hanging, and the reception was poor. The pictures shown on the Expedia website do not reflect my room or Katti House. I could not find a hotel room to get out of the hotel. I think the hotel is misrepresented and should NOT be offered at any price.

Worst experience of my life.

This was absolutely a nightmare. We checked in at 8pm. I called 1 hour prior to say what time we would arrive. When we got there Noone was there. We waiting 1.5 hours until she arrived and didn’t speak a work of English. We never got the room we booked. She didn’t apologize. When we got in the room smelled lik feces. The daughters boyfriend tried to help us saying I’ll open the window and the smell should go away. But when he opened the window it wasn’t even to outside it was a utility room that ran all night. When I went to take a shower the glass shower door fell on me. This was the worst experience in my life staying at a hotel. We were travelling around Europe for a month. To all reading this. Beware. Would not ever recommend anyone to stay here. Oh and to top this off none of the outlets worked.

Worst ever in Italy

Worst ever in Italy When we arrived to hotel ( if can name like "hotel"...) we went notified by other customers, that reception was a block from distance ( either hotels.com or the owner we don't adviced before about that. We had lucky found these people in the door ). Then , when I found the owner ( the reception was in Katty Hotel) , she told me that reservation never exists, and she told me was my foul because I cancelled (never I did that and never she shown me some evidence of this ). I shown her my confirmed booking with Hotels.com , but she still insisted that was my fault. Therefore, we had to look other hotel in Florence where all was sold out... Don't go this hotel ! PD: We went after to the Hotel Lorena, very nice hotel with good atention.

Bogdan greeted us upon our arrival and was very helpful. We loved that we didn't have to walk 100 vertical steps to our room! The location was great and next to Katti Restaurant, which had excellent food. Super convenient location to just about every landmark you'd like to see in Florence. The room and bath were very nice. We had a window that opened to the street below and could hear the bustle of foot traffic without sirens and horns all night.

Great location. Comfortable. Classic.

Comfortable. Great location for the train station and 5 mins from the Duomo. Very happy with our stay. Helpful staff - we spent very little time there as you would expect, but they provided what we needed. Clean, reasonable cost for Florence prices and walking distance from everywhere. We would stay here again.

Beau séjour dans un chambre typiquement florentine

Très bien. Bel accueil.

A real gem!

Location is perfect: just a couple of minutes walk to the train station and T1 and T2 tram lines, on a street packed with cafes and restaurants. Great hosts, nice rooms and beautiful building, too.

It was a beautiful little quaint hotel on a lovely Florence avenue bustling with tourists and lovely shops and restaurants. The young lady that greeted us was so accommodating and kind and even kept our luggage while we went to Rome for the weekend even though we weren't coming back to that hotel to stay. Great rates and a memorable experience.
