Perfect location in the centre of the lovely French border town of Divonne. Excellent value. This is a small, family-owned, hotel.
I booked at very short notice as I had to attend a funeral nearby. It was a very hot day and my single room at the top of the building (3rd floor) was very hot when I checked in. BUT it had a good fan and, by evening, with the windows & shutters wide open there was a lovely flow of much cooler fresh air. And so I was very comfortable.
My room was basic but perfectly adequate for the price I paid. It was clean and fresh.
I had been allowed to check in early which was very kind as it made it easier for me to change for the funeral. Reception was very good and efficient.
Parking is a minor challenge: first come, first served to secure one of 7 spaces. But there is a public car park just over the road & that is free overnight.
I paid on check in for breakfast. This was nothing remarkable, though sadly the croissants & bacon had run out when I went to eat (9:15 a.m.).
The hotel has a very nice bar with an excellent barman.
