Delicious breakfast with fruit, yogurt and granola with a choice of egg. The coffee was excellent. The view on the lagoon and the infrastructure was breathtaking. The room was clean and the design fit perfectly with the general vibe. I recommend staying at least two nights to truly enjoy the space in its entirety, something I regret not doing. If I come back to Bacalar, I will definitely stay here again.

One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Amazing jungle setting, super cool rooms with amazing decor, romantic lighting, thatch walls, outdoor shower, awesome plunge pool at the front door. We loved the cats everywhere, the open air reception lounge, awesome, friendly staff and beautiful lagoon. This place was like a super cool, semi fancy Gilligans island. If you like boring, beige, generic hotel chains, don’t come here.

What an incredible tranquil stay. Staff is incredible, morning breakfast is healthy and so clean. There’s a bocce court and the restaurant has a simple menu that’s vegan friendly but also serves incredible rib eye! Hotel is set in the jungle with a short stroll to the lagoon for a sunrise kayak ride. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay. This is just outside the centro which was fine for us since we had a car. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful design amid lush jungle plants, Naya is a bit out-of-the-way, about 3 miles north of the Bacarlar 'centro' but for couples looking for a romantic getaway with a total sense of privacy amidst the flora and fauna, this is a great choice. Had some of the best sex of my life in that huge bed under the palapas, bathed in a soft orange glow. Each A frame is surrounded by its own walls of stone and bamboo, giving you a sense of isolation from the world. All you hear are jungle cries of birds, insects and the occasional dog. The grounds spread out among acres, with the pool and restaurant/dock at different ends of the property. The owners cater to the yoga/holistic market, or to grown-up backpackers who now want a little luxury with their back to nature environment. My only complaint is that the many steps going down to the lagoon are challenging for us old farts with bad knees. I do recommend they put coffee makers in each room so one doesn't have to navigate the many steps for one's daily addiction. Everyone was charming and helpful. The furnishings and accoutrements unique and top quality. They provide Off to cope with the mosquitos, which can be plentiful in wet season. Maybe they should up their room rates a bit and just make all breakfast, whatever you choose, completely free.....it seems a little nickle-and-dime for a resort so otherwise boutique and niche....but it's their business decision. All-in-all a great place for lovers to stay in touch.

Siento q habia partes en la q faltaba barrer, como las terrazas , las áreas comunes fuera del restaurante , sucio y manchadas las fundas de los camastros , no hay nada más q la alberca de cada habitación, y el restaurante, que en la noche no atiende en, lo demás de las áreas comunes están sin servicio y vacías, la habitación bien pero no me dieron lo que compré, y según ellos me dieron un upgrade, sin decirme si me parecía, y dijeron q eso pedí y no era verdad , el día q me fui no había más q una persona atendiendo el desayuno y fue como al aventon, y tarde, siempre amables las personas eso si. No creo recomendarlo no volvería

El hotel es precioso súper instagrameable, la atención del personal muy buena todos son súper amables y las vistas son muy bonitas. El acceso a la laguna es muy chiquito y tiene mucha piedra que lástima para caminar si no es con paddle board no te puedes bañar en ella y si no lo sabes usar pues no te puedes meter, la alberca súper chiquita y sucia, el restaurante es caro y está muy agringado sin variedad, en la habitación no hubo agua caliente en dos ocasiones, si tu intención es tener acceso privado a la laguna para bañarte a gusto no es una buena opción, no todos los taxis quieren entrar o conocen dónde es el hotel lo cual es un problema porque está lejos del centro y el acceso está lejos de la carretera y lleno d barro no puedes entrar caminando y como el restaurante no está chido pues tienes que salir para comer.
