Very easy public transport connections downtown Lugano. The accommodation itself can use some modernization in terms of furniture and room interior. The quality of the beds was very good.

Very dated decor and basic furnishings. Room was cramped and the walls were very thin. Had a room with a connecting door and could hear everything in the adjoining room. Difficult to get a good night’s sleep and do any work in the morning. Location is okay but not particularly scenic for Lugano. Staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. Lugano is expensive but at over 200 CHF a night this felt very overpriced.

Great view of Lake Lugano - but there is a building site with 2 large cranes that suggests that in a year or so that view might be obscured by a new block. Our room was value for money but the hotel seemed to us to need investment, pretty much from top to bottom. Breakfast was good.
