The hotel has been renovated since my last visit in 2018 and it is magnificent. If it is your first time in Zurich, I don't know of a better place to stay. Only drawback is if you have rented a car, the initial approach to the hotel and GPS directions to the hotel are sketchy, but any other form of transport is right around the corner and would be easy! I will be back!

Auch der Service war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam – das Frühstück wurde mir auf Wunsch jeden Morgen zuverlässig und diskret vor die Zimmertür gestellt, was ich sehr genossen habe. Ein kleiner Wunsch bleibt: Eine etwas umfangreichere Room-Dining-Karte wäre schön gewesen. Gerade weil die Küche des Hauses hervorragend ist, hätte ich gerne öfter direkt im Hotel bestellt, statt auf externe Lieferdienste zurückzugreifen. Ein großes Lob gilt auch dem Housekeeping: Die Reinigungsdamen waren durchweg herzlich, freundlich und äußerst sorgfältig. Das Zimmer war täglich perfekt gereinigt, und auf Wünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Abends wurde man zusätzlich mit dem liebevollen Aufdeckservice inklusive kleiner Aufmerksamkeit verwöhnt – eine sehr schöne Geste. Staff was friendly and generally concerned we enjoyed our stay. great boutique hotel and exactly what we were looking for as far as European feel. It's very close to everything we were interested in which was history, shopping and the Christmas markets which were one of the best we visited in our 7-day Viking cruise and 3 days in Zurich.

Nice hotel in the city center right by the lake, however with the extremely high price point I expected more from this hotel. Booked a lake view room and the view was nice, but rooms were small and not much was included with the stay, not even breakfast, so at almost $1000 a night i would not consider this hotel worth it and would not stay here again.

If walking to the property from Zurich HB, walk and take the tram down to paradeplatz, then walk over going past Zeughauskeller restaurant. This is the most efficient way and easier if carrying luggage. Google maps won’t suggest this

Everything about this property was exquisite. The room, service, location, everything. The ONLY drawback was attempting to get there to park. It is in the old town that seems like it is pedestrian only. It was VERY nerve-racking driving down those streets packed with people to get there. Once there, it was ideal.
