The property is gorgeous, rustic, charming, and well decorated. The shower is hot, high pressure, and elegant. Beds are comfy, lots of storage for clothes. Nice kitchen for getting groceries and cooking, and a cute little patio for relaxing. no staff on site when I was there but that's fine. The location is a little hard to find because of the winding maze like alleys but that's also part of the charm. the old markets are walking distance and the main street with plenty of food options is very close. The owner is a really nice man who I had the pleasure of talking with one rainy day when he visited the property. I was staying there alone most of my visit which is really ideal but I'm sure it would be fine to socialize with a few other guests too. I imagine this property would be ideal in the spring when the courtyard could used more and there's less rain. a very unique space to stay in Izmir. highly recommended.
