Lovely sitting area on first floor. Great staff! Just no elevator. We managed and loved the setting around the Lodge. Great coffee in the morning! Convenient to drive to local restaurants and shops, hiking and scenic areas.

The lodge is charming and well maintained for its age. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. They offered a full buffet and the seating overlooked the grounds. We visited the tower at night. It was a little creepy, but the views were worth it. The room was small and cozy. We enjoyed our first stay in Cloudcroft.
