This was an amazing hotel experience - the staff was incredibly kind and helpful and upon arrival, a welcoming glass of wine! The location for this hotel is perfect! Can totally recommend this place!

4 of us stayed at the Deinhard for 2 nights in 2 of the junior suites and they were amazing with loads of space and superb views all round. Comfortable beds and pillows. A warm welcome with a glass of their own extremely good sparkling wine was a nice touch. We made lots of trips and needed taxi's arranged which the very helpful young lady on reception did several times for us. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and friendly staff to assist. We had great cocktails in the roof bar one night too. Overall, this hotel is perfect for a break and in a great location to see the whole town on your door step. We all really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Special hotel right in the heart of Berncastle, rooms are very spacious, lovely bathroom and a fabulous breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Mosel. Staff were attentive and there is on site parking for just 8 Euros a day. Super convenient, out of the door and you are bang in the middle of the beautiful Berncastle. Will be back for sure.

Fantastic place. Best location. Good people,. Room was very comfortable. The town itself is the best place to be at to explore the Moselle valley regions. Why 4 stars? Like everywhere else in Germany, the AC was poor. Almost non existent. World over .. if the hotel says AC, it means it cools the room at night. Here I almost expected that it wont and it did not. Cant give 5 stars.

It's a lovely hotel that's in a very good location in Bernkastel. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable as was the bedding. Breakfast is good, but not outstanding. At the time stayed, the fresh fruit on offer was being harassed by lots of flies which made it unappealing. I think many people appreciate the wine that is available at breakfast, but it wasn't something that appealed to me. The air conditioning was struggling to keep the room cool in the hot weather, but it was appreciated nonetheless. Our main disappointment was that the rooftop / terrace bar wasn't open for most of our stay which was a shame. For me, it was a lovely hotel, but not quite 5 star rating.

Great spot, quality build with solid, quiet rooms. AC. Breakfast was great. The main restaurant was pretty bad, but no big problem. Would come back.
