My sister arrived before me to check in because I was running late, and the sheer level of disrespect she encountered from the person at reception was shocking. The way he spoke to her and treated her was so cold and unkind that he actually made her cry. I have never heard of or experienced such disrespect anywhere else in the world — shame on you for allowing a guest to be treated that way. I hope God guides you away from this kind of nasty behaviour.
Eventually, another employee stepped in and helped her, and we were finally given a room. That employee was a lovely Yemeni gentleman, and I truly wish I had caught his name so I could thank him properly. May Allah bless him for his kindness and professionalism, because after the way my sister was treated, his help meant a lot and kept checking on her.
Unfortunately, our experience didn’t improve much after that. There were large bugs in the hotel, but because of the incredibly rude check-in experience, we didn’t even feel comfortable raising the issue with staff.
Thank God we were only there for two nights and then left.
