Hotel Primavera is a good 3 star hotel in the pedestrian district of Stresa.
We had a good 5 nights stay there. The room was spacious by European standards, it had a balcony big enough for 2 chairs, a kettle (but no teas or coffees were provided), and an empty mini fridge. The bathroom had apparently been recently redecorated and was nice.
There have been some negative comments about the breakfast, but we found it to be good for a 3 star hotel. Sure, the "orange juice" was made from concentrate and was about 90 % water and there was rationing with croissants - one per person - but otherwise the buffet contained everything you can sensibly expect. There were 3 different kinds of cold cuts, 3 cheeses, lots of cereals, different breads, jams etc. You did not need to leave the breakfast table hungry.
Overall the hotel provided good value for money and we would happily stay there again.
