I stayed one night in the King Mango/Papaya room and really wanted to love this place, but I left disappointed, especially for the price.
Pros:
• The grounds are nicely landscaped and the pool area looks inviting.
• The décor shows effort in trying to make the space stylish.
Cons:
• The mattress was sunken in the middle and uncomfortable, with rough linens and very thin pillows that made for a poor night’s sleep.
• The blackout blinds didn’t fully block light, so the room stayed bright from streetlights. To make matters worse, the TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night.
• Very minimal in-room amenities — no noticeable Wi-Fi and only a small amount of coffee/tea.
• The pool has no privacy from the active construction site right next door. Noise was an issue, and once building progresses it will likely be worse.
Overall, this motel looks appealing at first glance, but the basics of comfort and value just aren’t there. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
