Fantastic Manor House converted to a great boutique hotel. I especially liked the dinner, wine and service. Breakfast was pretty extensive, with plenty for every taste. The bar has a terrace overlooking enormous ancient cedar trees and a golf course. Pretty damn good hotel.

Beautiful hotel with tranquil surroundings. The staff were excellent at speaking English and they even had an English menu. The food was excellent, I especially loved the chicken ceasar salad. We didn't use the pool but it looked great and they had lots of games and a ping pong table to keep the kiddies entertained. Fantastic check out experience, the receptionist took the time to go through our bill and explain everything. Great room and the matress was so comfy. What I love about France is they use proper super king beds so there's no line in the middle like the UK. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Very quiet and relaxed environment. Close to golf facilities. Nice friendly personell. Our room in the Verger was spaceous for 4 people. Max 6p. The pool is heated although not to 27 degrees. Still we nice to enjoy after a long day travelling. The breakfast was very good with several types of bread, grains, fruits, pancakes, scrambled eggs bacon and more. We stayed one night while travelling south and will return next time when we are in the neighbourhood.

Hmmm?! .. I was very disappointed when we arrived when told both the bar and restaurant were closed ( it was a Sunday eve!) We had been driving for 10 hours! And completely drained and ravenous! We were recommended a quiet bistro down the road though and it was very nice Hotel is a bit dated but the room was much nicer than some of the other reviews suggested. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t review the quality This was a one night stopover

Horrible Experience.

Nous avons réservé notre séjour à l'hôtel en nous basant sur le site web et les équipements indiqués. Cependant, à notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis trompés. Tout d'abord, à notre arrivée, nous voulions profiter de la piscine et nous avons demandé des serviettes supplémentaires, mais on nous a répondu qu'elles étaient réservées aux clients utilisant l'espace spa. Or, la piscine se trouve dans l'espace spa et nous avons donc estimé que des serviettes supplémentaires auraient dû nous être proposées. De plus, l'espace douche n'était pas très hygiénique et il n'y avait personne à qui s'adresser dans cette zone spécifique. De nombreux autres clients de l'hôtel étaient également un peu perplexes. Heureusement, une autre maman a proposé son aide. Plus tard dans la soirée, nous sommes allés dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel et le service n'était pas terrible. Le timing des plats était complètement faux. Ils ont servi mon mari et moi en premier, puis le dîner des enfants a été servi près de 15 minutes plus tard. Mon plat était alors froid. Le serveur connaissait très peu le menu et n'a pas pu nous faire de recommandations sur le vin ou le dessert. En revanche, le repas était excellent ! Dans l'ensemble, l'expérience n'était pas à la hauteur de ce qui était promis sur le site web.

Pour une chalte très sympathique

Famille avec enfants, nous avons fait une halte au manoir de Beauvoir avant de reprendre la route le lendemain. Nous n'étions pas directement dans le manoir mais dans une des dépendances (le verger). La chambre située à l'étage était grande, spacieuse. Le mobilier avait du vécu. La literie était bonne. La piscine n'était pas loin de là avec un toit ouvert car il faisait beau. Ce fut très agréable. Le petit déjeuner, servi au manoir, est très complet, avec de nombreuses choses "fait maison". La proximité du golf invite au calme. Endroit très reposant. Nous vous le recommandons.

Beaucoup moins bien cette fois. Restaurant ouvert mais menu imposé : 1 entrée unique , 1plat poisson ou 1plat viande et 1 dessert. Aucun choix, la moindre des choses était de prévenir lors de la réservation.... Au fait, n'envoyez pas de mails ils n'y répondent qu'une fois sur deux. Très déçue.

Chambre qui ne correspond pas au photo, le lit n'est pas un vrai lit mais un canapé lit très spartiate mis dans un coin collé au mur sur lequel il y a des coulures.(chambre pour 4 personnes) Nous avons du loué une chambre ailleurs ne pouvant dormir sur cette literie. Les deux lits simples étaient corrects. Quand nous avons fait part de cela à l'accueil, la réponse était catégorique et désagréable. Il restait des chambres cependant ... Hôtel vieillissant, joint de la piscine moisi PDJ très bien Dîner trop cher et canette pas cuite ...

Une bonne adresse à retenir !

Un très bon séjour qui enrichit ma base d'une nouvelle "bonne adresse" pour un hébergement autour de Poitiers à l'occasion de mes prochains séjour. Je n'ai pas fait le choix de rester manger sur place car le restaurant est un peu cher je trouve. Mais l'accueil est chaleureux et le lieu est top, rien à dire !

Mauvais rapport qualité prix

Demander à changer de chambre car la baie vitrée ne fermait pas et il y avait un courant d’air. Il y avait aussi un chauffage d’appoint dans ma chambre. Les salles de bains demandent un grand rafraîchissement, comme le bâtiment d’ailleurs, qui est différent de celui en photo.
